Blizzard of Ozz´s Day

O trocadilho que intitula o disco de estréia da carreira de Ozzy Osbourne é perfeito para resumir o dia de hoje. Pela manhã, o ineditismo de uma estranha neblina pelas ruas chegou a me dar um pouco de receio de atravessar a rua com a bicicleta... talvez algum motorista desatento poderia varar o farol e me acertar em cheio... claro que não aconteceu. No almoço, ao invés de repetir novamente o Veggie Delite da Subway, resolvi buscar novas alternativas e, seguindo pela PCH no sentido inverso (northbound), desafiei o Arby´s. Bad place for a vegetarian. Tive que me contentar com porções de “Steakhouse Onion Rings” e “Mozzarella Sticks”, tanto saborosas quanto “engordativas” (justiça seja feita, sequinhas e crocantes, pouco oleosas). Não dá pra fazer mais do que isso no reino do rosbife... no máximo complementar com um “Loaded Potato Bites”, ou os frugais potato cakes / curly fries. E já que é pra ser completely junky x healthy, Milk Shake de Chocolate pra fechar com chave de ouro.

Após a aula da tarde, o maravilhoso OPEN BAR DE SORVETE (que ao que tudo indica ocorre semanalmente) da EF! Fechando o dia, Exibição do clássico “O Mágico de Oz” (aquele mesmo, o clássico, de 1939, Judy Garland...) no lounge (homework de Charles Pryor). Agora vou desligar, pois ainda preciso arrumar todas as minhas malas. Amanhã estarei de mudança pra casa da nova família, e então lhes contarei como foi.

THERE´S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

       

The pun that entitles the very first algum of Ozzy Osbourne´s solo career is perfect to summarize the day today. By morning, the novelty of a strange mist on the streets made me a little afraid to cross the street with the bike ... maybe some inattentive driver could pull down the lighthouse and crash me... of course not happened. At lunch, instead of repeating again Veggie Delite Subway, I decided to seek new alternatives and, following the PCH in the opposite direction (northbound), challenged the Arby's. Bad place for a vegetarian. I had to be glad with portions of "Steakhouse Onion Rings"and "Mozzarella Sticks", both tasty and "fattening" (to make justice: dry and crispy, few oily). Impossible to do something better at the kingdom of roast beef ... maybe with an additional "Loaded Potato Bites, " or the frugal potato cakes / curly fries. And since it's supposed to be tottally junky x healthy, I chose Chocolate Milk Shake to close with a golden key! After the afternoon class, the wonderful OPEN BAR ICE CREAM (which it seems happens weekly) of EF! Closing the day, display the classic "Wizard of Oz"(the classic, 1939, Judy Garland ...) in the lounge (homework of Charles Pryor). Now I will turn off, because I need to pack all my bags. Tomorrow I'll be changing to the new family home, and then tell them how it went.
